CCA Design Letter

Mr. Zack:

This is a letter as requested clarifying the minutes, contracts and responsibilities of all parties involved
in the museum construction.

CCA will be involved not only in exterior and facade construction but it will also be involved in the
interior planning of the entirety of the interior, with the exception of Amanda Curtis' agent who will
have exclusive responsibility for the gift shop. Aside from the gift shop, and the requirements that Ms.
Curtis and the museum have indicated for the project which have already been sent to CCA, CCA will
not only have sole responsibility for the exterior and interior (barring the gift shop) but will also have
sole autonomy and decision-making capacity.

Because the construction of the gift shop is an especial concern of Ms. Curtis, she has hired her own
interior designer to complete that part of the project. However, since the gift shop is part and parcel
of the entire construction, we request that CCA be involved in assisting in construction as well as
providing input and design information. The gift shop will need to be architecturally whole with the
rest of the building. Any additional work from CCA to facilitate this will be remunerated as normal.
This input and design information will include, but not be limited to, window details, exterior masonry
and floor construction.

Thank You,

Michael McCaffrey, Museum Curator
